Documentation Required
Immunizations
Many of our affiliate rotation sites that students attend require proof of vaccination. Therefore, all students entering a healthcare program such as health occupations will need to provide proof of immunization and/or immunity for the following:
- Flu vaccine
- Must be completed annually between August 1 and October 31
- TB screening - One of the following is required:
- 2 Step TB Skin Test (administered 1-3 weeks apart)
- 2 consecutive annual skin tests (administered 10-12 months apart)
- QuantiFeron Gold Blood test (Lab report required)
- IGRA blood test (Lab report required)
- Clear chest X-ray (Lab report required)
- COVID-19 - Exemption requests (if needed) will be accepted on the first day of class.
Clinical Documentation
- CPR for Healthcare Providers - Our clinical sites will accept the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. There must be an in-person component to the course. Fully online courses will not be accepted.
- Background check and drug screen - This will be completed on the first day of classes. Students are required to utilize the 赌钱app可以微信提现 resource to be clinically compliant.
Testing Documentation
- Social Security card - The Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) requires an SS card for state licensure.
- Valid state identification (Drivers license, state-issued Identification, passport)
12 weeks and 80 hours to a CMA

Requirements:
You must provide copies of the following:
- Current Two-Step TB skin test results or negative chest X-ray within the last year
- Social Security card - legible copy
- Current CPR for Health Care Providers certification card
- Current Kansas CNA certification
- Students must be 18 years of age at the start of the class
ACCUPLACER Score Requirements
You must have completed Composition I (ENGL 121) with a C or better or achieved an appropriate score (see 280760.com/admissions/enrollment/prerequisites) on the ACCUPLACER (see Testing Services) reading test within the last five years before enrolling in the CMA program. If you passed the ACCUPLACER reading test before Spring 2019 and achieved a score of 65 or higher, your score is valid for five years. COMPASS scores are no longer valid.
Need to Renew Your CMA Certificate?

On the first day of class at the OHEC campus, please bring copies of your Social Security card, CNA card, and CMA card, plus a check or money order payable to KDADS for $20. We’ll submit a roster of CMAs who complete the updated course for certificate renewal.
